E also stands for Define, Assess, Respond, Evaluate. Define means to explain or think of what is the problem is. For example, If my friend asks me to have some drugs, my problem is that he is telling me to take some narcotics.
Assess is when l need to make choices about a problem. Using my example earlier, if my friend told me to take drugs, l would have multiple choices. First, l could take the drugs and many potential risks such as heart failure. Respond is when I would implement my choices in real life using the information gathered.
Using the choices described in the Assess paragraph, l would make the right decision. I know that drugs are bad, and I can say no, so a good choice is to go with that.
